Abstract

In this study, effect of thermodynamic quantities of any double-effect absorption system operating by means of double fluid, LiBr-water on system performance, were examined. COP of the system was measured by changing temperatures and pressures of system parts. In this work, an engineering program which name is EES was used. The results revealed that pressures and temperatures in such a double-effect absorption system were required rather sensitive/exact setups. For this reason, operating range isn’t too wide. The system performance often cannot exceed 1 on a single-effect absorption cooling system. The performance of this system was seen to go over one.
